Frequently asked questions

The questions a careful buyer asks before signing, answered the way we answer them in a meeting.

01Who do I call when it breaks?
A person on the team, not a ticket queue. Write to us through the contact form or at contact@artisbay.com, and every client gets a direct phone number for the team when the project starts. A broken site goes to the front of the queue, ahead of any new work.
02Who are your clients?
Car dealers in Japan run their whole business on sites we built: website, stock, customer accounts, invoicing and an AI chatbot, all live today. Ask us and we will walk you through a real site, and you can read our clients’ feedback on our reviews page.
03Your company is new.
True. Artisbay Inc. was founded in November 2024. That is why our terms put our money behind the work: you see the site grow on a preview address every week, you can leave with one month's notice and no penalty, and once paid for, the design and the code are yours. Age matters less when you can watch the work and walk away at any time.
04Can we do it in Japanese?
The contract, invoices and support are in English, so there is one text everyone refers to. We can provide Japanese versions alongside them as a courtesy; the English version is the one that counts. Payment by bank transfer to a Japanese bank is fine, and Artisbay Inc. is a Japanese company registered in Yokohama.
05What if you disappear?
You watch the site grow on a preview address every week while it is being built, so nothing is hidden until launch. The agreement also says what happens if either side walks away: one month's notice, no exit penalties, and all files, hosting and domain access handed over to you within five business days. Once paid for, the design and the code are yours.
06Can we see it with our products?
Yes. Send us a few of your products, or your stock list, with prices and photos, and give us a few days. You will see a page with your own products on it, not a demo with someone else's.
07Who owns the site?
You do. Once the fees are paid, the design, the code and the content are your property. If we buy the domain for you, it is registered under our name for convenience, but it is your property and the contract says so clearly: ask for it at any time and we transfer it. The hosting is your own account, so nothing is locked to us.
08How long does it take?
A first prototype is online within 48 hours of receiving your hosting access, so you can watch it grow from day one. The fully working site follows, in most cases within about 30 days of signing. The exact dates depend on the scope and on how quickly your content arrives, so we agree them with you at kickoff. A Basic Light site is usually quicker.
09What does the monthly fee cover?
Unlimited edits for as long as the agreement runs: design adjustments, text, images, prices, stock updates and configuration changes. Small changes go out quickly; larger batches are planned together with you. New features outside the original scope are quoted separately. Hosting and your domain are not included; you pay those providers directly.
10Can we cancel?
Yes. One month's written notice, no exit penalties, and you pay only the current month. The setup fee is refundable only if you cancel within the first month after the start date: we keep one month's fee at the full monthly price, not the discounted one, and refund the rest. After the first month the setup fee is not refunded. The yearly Full Stack plan at 20% off runs for 12 months and renews yearly until you cancel.
11Do you use WordPress or a template?
No. Every site is written from scratch as real code by our engineers, each working with powerful AI. No template, no page builder, no plugin that breaks on the next update. That is also why we can fix it quickly later.
